James joined the Project Success team in 2017. James believes in the power of education and the arts to improve quality of life, and that everyone should have access to them. This belief has led him to a varied professional career that includes teaching elementary school in Minneapolis; founding Harbor Theatre Group, a free theatre program for Twin Cities teenagers; and curriculum design and facilitation with Stillwater Area Schools Department of Equity and Integration, the East Metro Integration District (EMID), Bakken Museum, and CLIMB Theatre. James is a frequent performer in the Twin Cities improv community – ask him for tickets to shows at HUGE Theater. He is a musician and songwriter whose bands have played in tiny venues to tiny audiences around the Twin Cities.
