As we celebrate 30 years of helping students connect to their purpose, here are some ways your gift can make a difference for young people:

  • $30 – 1 student on a College or Career Tour and workshop
  • $300 – 1 student for 10 weeks of Institute Certificate programming
  • $3,000 – 1 Theater Experience Field Trip for 100 students
  • $5,000 – 7 students for 7 days in the Boundary Waters

Donor Advised Funds (DAF) are charitable giving vehicles where donors set aside money to be granted to charitable organizations. When processing a DAF grant through a charitable giving account, search for Project Success by Tax ID (41-1837278). Project Success typically receives DAF grant checks within two weeks and sends an acknowledgment letter immediately upon receipt. If you want to inform us of a gift you have made through a DAF, contact Kaylee Fandre.

When you donate appreciated securities, both the gift amount and charitable deduction are the fair market value of the stock and there is no capital gains tax. Contact Emily Heagle to share your intent to give stock and you will receive our stock transfer information.

Make a tax-free gift to Project Success directly from your IRA. IRA Distributions are exempt from taxable income and qualify for the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). When requesting an IRA distribution, reference Project Success’ tax ID (41-1837278). If you want to inform us of a gift you have made through a IRA, contact Kaylee Fandre. You will receive an acknowledgment by mail and it will reference that the gift came from your IRA.

The Dreams to Action Society recognizes the generosity of those who have made a multi-year commitment to Project Success through a pledge or letter of intent. Sharing your intent to make a gift to Project Success over multiple years demonstrates your ongoing commitment to helping students connect to their purpose.

Maximize your impact! Many employers offer matching gifts when their employee donates to Project Success. When applying for a company match, search for Project Success by Tax ID (41-1837278). Complete your company’s online process and send a notification to Kaylee Fandre or mail paper matching forms to Project Success with your check or online donation receipt. Once we confirm receipt of the original donation, we apply the match. In addition to matches, many employers have grant programs based on volunteer hours or other criteria.

Leave a legacy with a planned gift to Project Success. Contact Adrienne Diercks to discuss opportunities for planned giving.

You can support youth through your company’s employee giving or United Way campaign. Almost all workplace giving programs allow you to designate all or a portion of your payroll deduction to the nonprofit of your choice. List Project Success in the designation section of your company’s pledge form as follows:
