Themes
- Much of the plot happens as a result of people listening in on others’ conversations, as well as people knowing that someone is listening in on them. What are ways that this is relevant in today’s world?
- Perhaps the most intense and painful moment in the play is when someone is convinced that their partner has cheated on them, and they respond in a particularly harsh and public manner. Do you think that the way we respond to negativity is important? Are there moral/ethical lines that our responses should not cross? Why or why not?
